From Improv to Script
We are two ambitious LA actors with a thirst for meaningful, thought-provoking content. We met about a year ago on an improv team, Rainbow Bright. During one of our performances, we improvised a scene about two men on a first date. Before their hook-up, they wanted to make sure each other knew it would be a completely average experience. Not good sex, but not bad sex - just your typical, mediocre, nothing special, beige, room temperature intercourse. Surprisingly, self-awareness can be quite a turn on.
Confidence is attractive, Honesty is sexy. But what if we were brutally honest about our..."skills" in the bedroom? Lukewarm is a comedy about managing the sexual expectations of those awkward first dates. We've found some incredible hilarious ways to put the lust back in lackluster.
We're almost ready to make a movie...

He looks for the heart of the story and strives to make all of his films relatable. The films he's produced and directed have shown in dozens of film festivals over the years, including the Sundance Film Festival (“Smilf” winner, short film jury prize), Newport Beach Film Festival (“Always Worthy” achievement in filmmaking award), and many more. Mitch has spent the better part of the past decade directing shorts and pilots, sketch comedies and web series. With a background in theater acting, he has the unique ability to connect with his actors to bring out the best performances every time.

Where Does the Money Go?
We want to tell our story but we want to do it right! We think it's important to use professional film equipment, and hire a great post-production team so that we can make the best film possible!
Your contribution will go to:
-Equipment Rental: Sound, lights, camera, ACTION!
-On-Set Food & Drinks: Feeding people makes them happy, and a typical day on set is 14 hours!
-Crew: We really want to make this movie look good and believe the best way to do that is hire the pros and pay them whatever we can!
-Post-Production: Any good comedy needs a great editor with great comedic timing, and so we want to be able to hire the best one we can!
-Film Festival Submissions: We want people to see our movie, and festival submissions really add up!
