Our Story

Valor-Visions Theater company began in January 2012. We are a new company but we have very big dreams. It was founded by me, Tracey Pope, after my decision to resign from my job and step out on faith in order to pursue my dreams. I have always dream of walking in my mom's footsteps and becoming a great playwright and director. Right now, our office is run from my home, but I dedicate more hours to working for my own company at home than I did when I worked full-time outside of my home. I am passionate about my company and our current project, Mama's Child. It is a comical, but serious gospel musical about family life, drug addiction, loss and forgiveness. We plan to have a top-notch band, moving music, and a powerful message that will wow our audience.

The Impact

The impact that Mama's Child will have on the community comes in the form of 2 deep moral messages: As long as you still have life, you still have hope; and Forgiveness is the purest kind of love you can exercise.  The vocals and the music is what will help to get this message across in the most effective way. Proceeds from this play will go to a pre-selected charity - tentatively The Boys & Girls Club of NC. We will involve the community in every step of this production from auditions to charity donations.
