...for Podcasters, YouTubers, Gamers, Musicians, Business Professionals and more!

The MDrill One will consistently record up 10% more clearly and accurately than other USB microphones while canceling out any ambient or background noise, so you can be confident that all of your audio will be conveyed to your audience true to sound.

VERTIGAIN® Technology allows sound waves to move vertically through the mic instead of being scattered by the mesh found in other microphones. This technology increases recording quality and clarity by up to 10% compared to other mics.

Nature of Acoustics

In reality, there are some properties of acoustics that affect the acoustic space. These properties can either improve the quality of the sound or interfere with the sound. One of these properties, reflection is defines as the change in direction of a wave when it hits an object. Many acoustic engineers took advantage from this. Reflection theory can be used to enhance the acoustics in an enclosure for better performance.

Typical Microphone Grille

While collecting the sound in the acoustic space, the typical mesh structure of the current microphone grilles scatters the sound waves inside the microphone which interferes with the performance of the condensers.

VERTIGAIN® Design Grille

In Vertigain® design grille, the sound waves reaches the 3 condensers without being scattered by any grille mesh (commonly found in many regular microphones) and are collected in a more homogenious pattern,  thus resulting in higher performance compared to the other digital microphones.

Sound waves are regulated through specially designed VERTIGAIN® grille.

Switch to the noise reduction mode to ensure a ‘no distractions’ recording, which means you won’t have to worry about your MDrill One picking up background or ambient noise, even if it occurs while you’re speaking.

Choose between five options of how MDrill One will pick up sound without buying five different mics. Recording modes include cardioid, stereo, bidirectional, omnidirectional and noise reduction.

Experience absolutely no lag time between when you talk into the MDrill One mic and when it records sound. That means you’ll hear yourself in real time, every time

Your preferred recording settings will save within the MDrill One mic. That means you don’t have to worry about re-setting up each time MDrill One is turned off or unplugged

Mount your MDrill One with different universal accessories including a pop filter or mic extension.

MDrill One comes compatible with microphone stands having 5/8”-27 threaded screw.

3/8” Female To 5/8" Male Threaded Screw Adapter can be used for easily switching the mounting type.

Power up and connect the MDrill One to most computers directly through a USB Type C cable connection. USB-C connection is lightning fast, so you don’t have to worry about a wait time.

USB Type C, which is just starting to show up in consumer devices, has some cool new features that you won’t find in older USB connectors.

It’s small. The new port is half the width and one-third the height of a standard USB connector.

It’s reversible. Unlike older USB cable, it doesn’t matter which side is up with a Type C plug; you can insert it either way.

It’s fast. Type C ports can transfer data using the zippy speeds of the latest version of the USB protocol — up to 10 gigabits per second.

It’s flexible. Via adapters, users will be able to connect older devices to Type C ports.

The MDrill One is perfect for...

Both MDrill One and MDrill Zero are compatible with the software below.

and more...

Love the MDrill One but need something smaller and more refined?

The MDrill Zero offers the same professional-grade recording as the MDrill One but with two recording modes: cardioid and omnidirectional.

The MDrill Zero is also incredibly compact, coming in a little over half the size of the MDrill One.

Think of the MDrill Zero as your new favorite travel companion, without having to compromise quality.

People today spend thousands of dollars on the best speakers with perfect sound quality, but what about the quality of the actual audio recording?

In May 2017, we were hanging out with our audiophile friends and talking about the shortages of features in existing microphones but the high quality of speakers, video, and cameras. It led us to question why people don’t place the importance of video recording and audio recording on the same level. That was the moment the Thronmax story started.

Our ambition led us to create the best design by carefully crafting all the details, and our vision led us to innovate unique features such noise reduction Vertigain® Technology.

We were determined to use only the best real materials, such as die-cast aluminum on the body, a metal shaft inside the microphone, and metal for all moving parts, to achieve the most durable product.    And most importantly, our friendship helped maintain the core of MDrill development and gave spirit to all stages of the project.

We can’t thank you enough for checking out our project and helping us make the MDrill One a reality.

We know not everyone will be able to support us with a pledge, so even if you can’t give a dollar or purchase the MDrill One, if you’re a supporter of MDrill One or Thronmax, you can help us spread the word on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram and anywhere else you can think of!
