Since our initial phase of production last October, we have been working overtime to bring our sultry and thrilling project to life... and death! Thanks to the early support of our initial crowdfunding campaign, we've raised over $18,000 and have used those funds to film and finalize the first 25 minutes of the movie. We've created a passionate, erotic, and terrifying tale that speaks to the struggles of our community during this time, while also delivering on the high volumes of horror and gore that genre fans have come to expect.

We have successfully initiated production on our film, but we once again need to request additional assistance in order to help see it through to completion. By contributing to our campaign, you'll play a vital role in supporting independent LGBTQ+ filmmaking and help bring our unique perspective to the horror genre. Thanks to the support of our initial crowdfunding campaign, we've managed to raise over $18,000 which we invested in filming the opening flashback sequences of our film. Trust us when we say that we couldn't be happier with the results. But even with that work being completed, there's still a long road ahead of us and we need your help to reach our goal of $30,000, which we hope to achieve over the next 30 days.

The funds we've raised so far have gone towards filming and executing the first 25 minutes of MEAT. We've created a story that's both passionate and suspenseful, and we're confident that it has the potential to make a significant impact in the film industry.

To complete the rest of the film, we need to raise an additional $30,000 MINIMUM. This includes the cost of cast compensation, production expenses, post-production costs, marketing and distribution efforts, and contingencies. Here's a breakdown of our cost distribution. 21.7% for SFX makeup and prosthetic effects used in a multitude of kill sequences.

10.9% for locations

10.9% for contingencies and unforeseen expenses that may arise during production

But is it TOO big?!

While we are incredibly grateful for the early support we've received, we still have a long way to go in order to bring this film to life. As an independent production, we are facing some unique risks and challenges.

The biggest risk we face is not raising enough funds to complete the film. While we have self-funded much of the project, we have reached a point where we can only manage so much more before it becomes impossible. Without the additional support from backers like you, we won't be able to complete the film at the level of quality it deserves.

We understand that there are always risks involved with any creative project. However, we have a dedicated and experienced team in place to help mitigate any potential issues. We have planned our budget carefully and have built in contingency funds to cover unexpected expenses. We also have a solid timeline in place and have been working diligently to ensure that we stay on track and on budget.

Another potential challenge we may face is navigating the current pandemic situation. However, we have already taken measures to ensure the safety of our cast and crew, and will continue to follow all recommended guidelines as we move forward with production.
