How Does it Work?
SpoonTEK uses a new ion sensory technology, a first for eating utensils that combines electric stimulation andtongue sensory. This emerging technology mildly excites the taste buds on your tongue for better eating experience. You feel the difference in taste immediately! To accomplish this task, we use two electrodes (one on the handle and one in the spoon bowl), advanced circuitry, complex wiring between all connections, and a proprietary method for hermetically sealing in the electronics. Cameron Davidov
Cameron Davidov has worked in the organic food industry since graduating from business school at Tulane University. He is a New York City based entrepreneur with a passion for solving one of life’s unsolved mysteries...how to enhance taste and improve after-taste through an eating utensil. Along with his father, Ken, a lifelong product developer, Cameron is introducing his first product, SpoonTEK, to the world. SpoonTEK is a mind-blowing technological innovation that will change the world of taste forever and will instantly give consumers a superior eating experience.
Cameron Davidov has always been fascinated by taste and how to improve the everyday foods that did not appeal to him. Like most people, Cameron couldn’t get past the bitter and sour tastes of many foods, especially yogurt, which was a breakfast staple in his childhood home. He spent a lot of time in the kitchen, concocting recipes for meals that agreed with his discernible palette.
Raised in a family of product developers, Cameron’s father and grandfather taught him the fundamentals and importance of building high quality consumer products. It was when Cameron started using a high-tech toothbrush developed by his father, Ken, that he had his eureka moment. He thought about whether a similar technology could be used with an eating utensil to improve and enhance tastes. After developing a handmade prototype, and testing it with countless foods and yogurts, Cameron realized there was a novel way to heighten flavor, minimize after-taste and make food products with reduced sugar & sodium taste better…introducing SpoonTEK.
Ken Davidov
Ken Davidov has worked as a product developer, inventor and entrepreneur for over 35 years. He graduated from business school at Tulane University. Proficient in new product development, mass scale production, and importing, Ken is excited about the over 800 products he has already brought to market and his new emerging technologies, including SpoonTEK. Ken is passionate about design, technology, and building strong business and personal relationships to last a lifetime. He is a partner in 3 different tech companies specializing in groundbreaking innovations focusing on the "electric" human body, and owns & licenses several patents for consumer products. In addition to his technology companies, Ken has delivered custom products to many major food brands including Ragu, Domino's, Chick-fil-A, Lipton, Baskin Robbins and Hostess. He licensed the revolutionary "Spoon-in-the-Lid" packaging innovation to General Mills and Haagen Dazs and was awarded the Business Week "Product of the Year".

Refund Policy
Cancel for free at anytime within the next 30 days. We recommend early backers to reserve VIP spots before they are all gone, as cancellations will always remain an option if you change your mind. All units come with a warranty. This campaign is a pre-order for SpoonTEK so the funds raised through Indiegogo will be used to manufacture the product for our backers. In accordance with the Indiegogo terms of use, we will not offer refunds or returns for items that are not defective once the Indiegogo campaign is over.
Warranty
SpoonTEK comes with a standard 60-day warranty that will be determined by type of use and maintenance. There will be no returns if a package has been opened or the packaging seal has been broken. Due to the unique & challenging manufacturing processes of our product, the management team may offer a one time replacement.
Risks and Challenges
Like all new projects, there are always risks and challenges. We know from experience it takes a lot of planning, hard work and perseverance to successfully launch a new product.
The team is confident we have taken the right steps to mitigate risks such as shipment delays, product defects or supplier reliability. Over the past year we have been prototyping, testing and refining to make sure the final product we deliver to our backers far exceeds expectations. The team at SpoonTEK will update you regularly on progress. If there are any issues, we promise to communicate with you every step of the way!
