Mega Chomp & Cowgirl Ninja
I love writing and wanted to create characters that my nieces and nephews could relate to, in order to encourage them to read and help them discover that reading can be fun and rewarding.
In the series I will have:
- Children's books that teach lessons to pre-school aged kids.
- Books for early readers and late elementary/early middle school.
- Graphic novels for young adults.

What We Need & What You Get
- The major expenses for this project include: artist illustrations, book printing costs and interactive eBook expenses.
- The rewards include: digital copies of the book, hard copies of the book (potentially delivered in person by the real life Mega Chomp!), a Mega Chomp themed party (including a live book reading and a Mega Chomp cake) and more!
- Although we can't update the Perks once they have been claimed, rest assured that anyone who contributes at the $15 level or above (that is, anyone who reserves a copy of Mega Chomp to the Rescue, whether hard copy or digital) will also receive the digital audio download, which will include six songs and an audiobook! Other perks have been added unofficially (see the Updates for details) including things like temporary tattoos designed by Jack Lowe of Skin Kitchen, and a coloring and activity book featuring art from both the children's book and graphic novel!

Why Mega Chomp Matters
Unexpected changes can be scary for anyone, and children deal with unforeseen change all the time. MEGA CHOMP TO THE RESCUE reminds kids that even though change can be scary, they have the power to turn those changes into unique gifts that make them special. Encouraged by a big sister with her own set of quirky attributes, Mega Chomp learns that even a girl like her can be a superhero.

Risks & Challenges
The illustrator for this book, the very talented Aleksandar Bozic Ske, has completed the artwork for MEGA CHOMP TO THE RESCUE, and is already working on artwork for the sequel! We already have the first physical proof of MEGA CHOMP TO THE RESCUE in our hands, and we're making a few minor edits before the printing begins. It's so close, we can taste it!
