Set within a world we know of as "The Dead Zone", the period we're in now. A "dead timeline" not meant to exist that occurred exactly 30 years in the past.  A period where everything turns in circles, where nothing feels right, where everything recycles from the past, where the original experience of life simply does not exist and things cannibalize each other for even a modicum of inspiration. Ultimately she discovers the secret of the year 1982 and it's connection with the condition of the present.
