Hi, my name is Hoang Nguyen, I've been a professional artist for a very long time. I've worked for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image Comics and many independent companies in the past. I'm currently working in the game industry, but my first love is still comics. 

I originally created "Metal Militia" comic with my brother way back in the early '90s. It was a creator-owned project that holds a special place in my heart. Three issues were published back in 1995 and the fourth one never even hit the printing press. I've finally finished the book with the help of many contributors and now it's time to collect all the sold-out issues into a giant size Hardcover Graphic Novel. The book is over ninety-six pages long, and counting.

I've also decided to self-publish rather than going through a traditional publisher. The process for approvals, contracts and negotiation would take too long. Also, having the creative freedom to make decisions without interference from publisher is plus.

Metal Militia will be packed with contents from cover to cover. Over ninety six pages of story & art with NO ads. The hardcover book will be printed on a high-quality paper to showcase the gorgeous painted art. 

I've gone back to the original source and re-touched & updated many of the art pages. Also, many new pages was added as well. Kinsun and his team of painters have done a fantastic job of bringing the characters and environments to life. The colors, lighting and textures are vibrant and beautiful. Mike Kennedy (writer of Star Wars, Superman, Lone Wolf & Cub) will handle the script. 

My goal is to get the Hardcover Graphic Novel out as soon as possible and with your support, I'll be able to get the book into your hands shortly. This book is a labor of love for all of us and I can't wait to get it to you. Thank you in advance, your help and support is greatly appreciated.

Risks & Challenges

I've run many campaigns on Kickstarter and have always delivered. This project will be a first for me on Indiegogo and I'm excited to launch it here.

The book is finished and will be ready for the printer as soon as the campaign close. I don't foresee any problem or delay, but with any project, there is always something. I'll make sure to keep you up to date with any issue that arises.
