Middle Man Is about a young criminal trying to hide a priceless painting for a crime boss, and learns an extremely important lesson along the way, don't trust anyone.
Middle Man explores multiple genres such as action, drama, and comedy. This is a film that will have audiences at the edge of their seat from its opening scene to the climactic finale. Every scene acts as its own short film within the story, ensuring a thrilling viewing experience.
Amory Flint Wood - Writer/Director
I want to bring a new feeling to screen writing and directing that dynamically involves different genres and blends the feeling of ‘normal life’ with the suspense of disbelief. My life has been a series of emotional moments followed by jokes and smiles, and sometimes it’s been jokes and smiles followed by tragedy and troubles. Either way, it tends to happen all at once, a parallel movement of life that takes you by surprise, much like my scripts and films. I have only strived for a strong emotional impact in my scripts that introduce the viewer to the protagonist and build a bridge of empathy they can truly feel, even once they’ve left the cinema.
William Breittholz - Producer
My goal as a filmmaker is to create powerful stories that fully immerse the audience and push creative boundaries. I like to engage in many aspect’s of filmmaking and am very excited to be producing Middle Man. A film that not only has a clever plot with moments of suspense, action, comedy, and drama, but truly shines through its multi-layered characters who’s decisions throughout the story will captivate audiences.
Chris Feleppa - Director of Photography
Movies are subjective, as is movie making. You can’t say “it’s wrong to have a shot in a film” although you can certainly say it may have been out of place. A lot of times great cinematography is deliberate. There’s progression to the story with every shot that we see on screen and the order in which they appear in.
Middle Man is jam packed with dark humor. I think that humor landing will depend heavily on timing in the edit. My goal is to see to it that we choose the right frames to support that laughter.
