"MIDHEAVEN" - a short student film.

A fun, Romeo and Juliet-esque short set in a dystopian world where the algorithm dictates your match based on the star sign you were born with. 

Kala is a Pisces woman who finds joy in her idealistic world and dreams of being swept away on adventures. Castor is a Gemini man who is the life of a party; he's witty and he wants more to life than spending it being dictated by his star sign.

They spend the perfect night together until they wake up the next morning to find out who Castor truly is. Midheaven tells the story of how Kala must overcome the consequences of a one night stand gone horribly wrong.

We are hoping to raise at least £400 for our film so we can bring a fun, hopeful take on the idea of having your role in society being dictated from the moment you were born. The money will be used for production design, transport, locations, food etc. Filmmaking is expensive and funding is hard to get, so we really appreciate every bit of help we can get to make this film a possibility!
