Who is Maria Mircheva and what´s this Documentary about?
She left Bulgaria at the age of 20 after being won the National prize in music and looking for her love, not only the cello but Vladimir, a violinist then living in Dublin (Ireland). She had the opportunity to win a position as a soloist in Sweden at the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and she enjoyed there for 19 years while touring Europe with several chamber music ensembles until she discovered Valencia (Spain). She grew up an empire of young and talented cellists when almost nobody knew about this instrument and nowadays most of her students are soloists in the most important symphony orchestras and music conservatories of all over Spain.
Now she is 72 and has a grandson, but she plays everyday, thinking on the next concert, giving some masterclasses to advanced cellists and still thinks doesn't deserve a movie.
Why we need you
We are throwing our heart and souls into this Documentary! We are creating a first-class film that is going to look like it was made with a 500,000€ budget for just over 80,000€! (Seriously!).
Paella Productions is already applying for a Spanish Governmental grant to produce this Documentary with a 90% of the budget and that´s why we are asking you to help us out in completing it.
To throw in whatever you can- whether it's a tiny bit to stay in the loop and see the process of what's happening, a few more bucks so that you can essentially buy a ticket in advance and see it before anyone else does. Or- give our film even more of your hard earned cash, and get a private concert by soloist Maria Mircheva.
Whatever you give us, whether it's social media shares, a few bucks, or a lot of bucks, you will be responsible for a great movie and helping thousands of young musicians showing what they can do with their lives if they propose to success.
We literally could not do this without you!
