Our Film
"Mirror" is a short NYU thesis film. It's an experimental dark comedy about Frank, a middle-aged man who works as an emergency responder in an office bathroom. From a young age, he has wanted to be a businessman, but this job is the closest he can get to the business world.
"Mirror" takes place in an office bathroom which has an "in case of emergency" button. When people press this button, a small panel opens to reveal Frank, who is there to help with any emergency - large or small. At one point, Frank is transported through toilet pipes into an alternate space where he is confronted with his past.
This film will experiment with visual effects, green screen technology, movable set pieces, and one-way mirrors. These effects are highly ambitious for a student film, which is why our crew is excited for the challenge!

Our Goals
This film relies heavily on set construction and visual effects. We are building two different sets to create Frank's world and we want it to be as realistic as possible. We can't do this without your help!
Most of the budget is going towards building Frank's bathroom. The remaining budget is dedicated to film expenses like transportation, equipment, and meals for our talented cast and crew.
Any donation goes a long way. Please help Danielle and her crew to make this film one to be proud of!
