"Mirrored Dreams" is an artist collaboration project, initiated by Dominik Gümbel & Stefan Große Halbuer, a.k.a. Gooey Goose.

We asked you to send in your wildest, weirdest, most memorable dreams and nightmares - and 11 of our favorite artists to turn your dream stories into art! "Mirrored Dreams" will be the result of this: A 240 page strong book filled with amazing comics and illustrations, based on YOUR dreams!

 

We wanted to create the kind of book that we would love to read ourselves. The result is a manga-sized (A5/5.8" x 8.3"), playful pulpy book full of art and stories that's just fun and entertaining to explore!

The final book specs will feature:

For us, the most important “stretch goal” is that the more backing the campaign gets, the more we can pay our artists. Apart from that, we came up with a couple extras for you as well. We will reveal the stretch goals one by one:

 

We are Dominik and Stefan, the founders of the "Mirrored Dreams" Art Anthology. We are two freelance artists from Germany and friends for a couple years. One day early 2024, we thought “why not make a self published book together”? And the idea for “Mirrored Dreams” was born!

Our approach for this project was simply to create a book that we’d love to read and enjoy ourselves. We hope that this project will be a starting point for sharing our passion and love for art and design through our Gooey Goose publishing brand!

All books and boxes will be sent in super sturdy packaging. We know how parcel services like to treat our precious goods at times, and we’re prepared!

We offer worldwide shipping with Deutsche Post DHL. Shipping costs will be collected after the campaign ends. This means you don’t pay for shipping here on Indiegogo. In case of a successful funding, you will get a link shortly after where you can add your shipping details and pay for shipping (by Credit Card, Paypal, Google/Amazon/Apple Pay, Klarna).
