Everyone has a dream, but you need the courage to hang on to it.

This is a short comedy about a naive Chinese girl Meng (meaning "dream") who suddenly gets fired by her boss and is dumped by her boyfriend at the same day, which leads her to a life-changing journey to Hollywood, where she meets a strange motel owner, tries to deal with the cultural differences in order to achieve her dream to become a movie star.

The Impact

We are three Chinese girls who share similar passion and dreams.   The short film means a world to us. We are trying our best to make an influence and expressing our culture. 

What We Need

Anyone familiar with film production knows the difficulty and expense of getting a project started with very little money. Everyone on the project is working for free. But in order to make a quality film, we need to rent equipment, location, food, transport......
