Due to the popularity of our products, our business is constantly expanding, We have outgrown our current commissary kitchen, where we are limited to part time hours with a full time work load. In order to keep up with increasing demand, we need to move to a larger kitchen with unlimited access. We have found the perfect spot! Brand new construction and meets the highest standards for commercial kitchens. We have the space, all we need is your help with everything that makes a kitchen a kitchen.
Misty Morning Bakery was born when our son told us that he was gluten intolerant and the gluten-free products on the market were about as tasty as the packaging. We knew very little about the gluten free market, so we began looking at what was available. He was right! Surely someone could do better! That someone is us. We started researching gluten free baking, the ingredients used, and what ingredients contained gluten and had to be strictly avoided. We baked a lot of bad bread at first but learned with each mistake. At a small business seminar, we met our first customer. That led to our first restaurant account and the rest is history. We started with a few baking pans and 4 hours a week at a commissary kitchen. As word of mouth spread, we started getting calls from other restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. Many business owners told us that after asking around to find who had the best gluten free products in Austin our name was consistently at the top of the list. We built our business little by little by selling some products and buying more equipment. That worked for several years. But now, as we approach 50 accounts, our product line has greatly expanded to include sweets and other delectable delights and we have reached the limit of what we can produce in our current kitchen. Fortunately, we have found a new kitchen where we will have twice the space and unlimited access. The problem is that this new kitchen does not come with the basic appliances we need. That’s where you come in. We need to buy a double convection oven, commercial refrigerator and freezer, stainless steel work tables, and shelving. With your help, we will be able to keep expanding our customer base and serve even more delicious products to the gluten free community and beyond. We have signed the lease and desperately need your help to have the necessary equipment in time to be ready for our giant leap into the future. So, tell your friends, family, co-workers about us and let’s make this happen! Every contribution at any level helps, and every contribution is greatly appreciated. We can’t thank you enough!
