In a Nutshell
MMOExaminer was created by a group of journalists who got fed up with having to read gaming news articles that are clearly influenced by outside factors and do not necessarily present the truth. We plan to create a completely truthful, direct and honest news source that will bring you facts and not sponsored information.

What is MMOExaminer?
MMOExaminer is currently a newborn project that needs YOUR help to grow. We are a team of professional journalists who strive to reshape the current state of video gaming journalism. We want to create a news portal where news are not influenced by sponsors and where you will get what you came for.
Quality & Experience
We are all writers who have worked with well-known MMO news sites, like the creator of the project who is a full-time writer at MMOSite.com. Based on our previous experiences we have plenty of past mistakes we can learn from and we now know how we can satisfy our readers.
We Are Gamers Too
Journalists often attempt to write about topics that they are unfamiliar with and do their best to put together information from various sources just to complete an article. We are different. All the writers at MMOExaminer are both journalists and veteran gamers who have been playing since the 90s. Because of this, we can combine our gaming knowledge with our experiences in journalism and produce articles that accurately cover any topic that is related to the industry.

What do we offer?
We want to provide our readers with the chance to read articles about MMO Games that inform accurately and right on time. We will be constantly interviewing gamers, developers and publishers to enable you to get a clear picture of gaming industries. We do not wish to write our posts based on what other sites have written, we wish to obtain information right from the original source so that we can write articles that contain unaltered details.
Global Monitoring
We will be hiring people from all around the world in order to be able to provide gaming news from various regions, from East to West. We will be covering NA and EU developed games as well as Asian MMOs and much more.

The current video gaming journalism is packed with posts that are heavily influenced by sponsors. This results in inaccurate presentations of MMO games that do not inform the readers the way they should. At MMOExaminer, all of our reviews, previews, discussions and news posts will be uninfluenced by any external entity. We will tell you the truth whether it's good or bad. We will be posting news without being influenced by advertisers, publishers and developers.
We Will Listen
MMOExaminer will be interactive. We will be constantly communicating with you guys in order to meet your demands and cover the things that you want to read about. We will listen to feedback and take criticism as something to build our development upon.
We Will Communicate With Gamers
It is the gamers that keep the industry alive, and we want to let our readers see what other gamers think. How they see games, new content, eSports, how they beat endgame and so on. We will be interviewing gamers from a variety of MMO games on a daily basis.
No Ridiculous Giveaways
When we run a giveaway, it will be something you guys actually want to get. We recently began our first event through which we are giving away an actual World of Warcraft Legion Expansion to a lucky reader. We will strive to reward our readers with nifty gifts that will put a smile on your face.

MMOExaminer needs your support to be able to create a quality news source. To be able to employ professional and skilled journalists we need to be able to pay them. Our current funds will not be able to keep us going for a long time and because of this, we decided that Indiegogo is the right place to ask for help.
We are also in need of a far better website system that can allow readers to fully enjoy our content and to get informed efficiently. If our fundraiser goal is fulfilled we will build a completely new site that will have all the necessary functions of a gaming news portal.
As you can see from our rewards section, those who support us will not go unnoticed. We will be doing our best to become worthy of your support and to create such a unique gaming news portal that will stand out from the current generic video gaming journalism lineup.
The funds that we receive from this Indiegogo project will all go into paying our writers, travelling to gaming related events and maintaining the website. We want to provide quality service, and for that, investments are necessary.
Journalism is a dirty business with plenty of obstacles that need to be handled. Writers can end up leaving and we have to consider the fact that we might not be able to obtain enough funds for our project. But our team is very optimistic, and because we are all experienced journalists we know that our plans will succeed, one way or another. There are technical challenges that we must overcome, and those can often result in delays, but since we all know what we are doing, the chances are very low.
