The book is written in Five Parts:
Part I contains the Introduction and Chapters 1-3. We discuss the current state of the real estate and real estate valuation industry. Drawing from interviews with experienced professionals and experts in the industry, I will provide you with insight into current market events and dynamics. From there, we will dive into the historical development of real estate valuation.
Part II contains Chapters 4-8. This part of the book focuses on economic principles fundamental to real estate valuation, with demos of the concepts. Your foundation of real estate and real estate valuation will be enhanced through key terminology, and an application of the economic principles and concepts.
Part III contains Chapters 9-11. The primary valuation methodologies are defined, highlighted, and explored, with a demo of the concepts. Applying knowledge and insights of real estate broadens your foundation.
Part IV contains Chapters 12-14. Here, we will obtain insights into additional topics for exploration in real estate valuation, including the valuation of personal property, such as equipment, machinery, and personal effects of residential properties.

The Author
Lillian Moy is a Tax and Real Estate Valuation Analyst at international blue-chip tax and financial services organizations and state government agencies. She developed property valuations of commercial real property such as office, retail, mixed-use, land, leasehold, and special purpose properties at commercial real estate companies; appraised residential properties at a Northern Virginia County Government; and provided valuation advisory services to U.S. Federal government agencies for management of their real property portfolios valued up to thirty-five billion dollars. Previously she served as Statistician administering the population Census and the Economic Census at the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Census Bureau. She is a licensed Realtor.
Lillian graduated with a Master’s degree in Statistics, Fordham University; BS/BA International Marketing; Georgetown University, and is proficient in Spanish.
The inspiration for the book guide stems from years of experience in the field of real estate valuation. Understanding real estate and its practical applications are fundamental to bridging the gap as a consumer and investor of real estate.

About the Book Campaign
A challenge of publishing a book is delivering the completed book to the supporter, specifically my mailing of the book to you. Built into the campaign order is the mailing and shipping costs of your signed copies within each pre-order tier.
