Modobag is the invention of Chicago entrepreneur and world traveler Kevin O’Donnell. He got the idea while he was traveling through the airport with the Chi-Town’s Finest Breakers, when the kids started taking turns riding on his suitcase. It was at that point he told them, "We're gonna put motors in these!". As soon as he reached his destination, Kevin called his college buddy Boyd, and the concept for Modobag was launched.
Kevin O'Donnell; After studying Industrial Design at the University of Illinois, Kevin spent several years in the technology space where he launched numerous eCommerce ventures. Since 2014, Kevin’s main focus and passion has been the Modobag. Kevin lives the Modobag mantra of wanting to change the way the world travels.
Boyd Bruner is a competitive motorcyclist with an eye for design and a sense of adventure. He served as a technical director, and won the 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing Daytona 200. The thought of a motorized piece of luggage was a project ideally suited for his curiosity.
