The project team has begun turning their prototype into the final product. Their ability to ship the products may be affected by product development or financial challenges.
MONYKER is a no-frills bag company that delivers on superior quality at an affordable price by selling directly to the consumer (that's you!). The JW Weekender is our first baby: an ultra high-quality travel bag designed for jet-setting professionals.
Your Perfect Travel Partner
We wanted to make a travel bag that was extremely functional. We knew it had to be high quality, durable, and versatile. This was our idea:
We spent a year prototyping, evaluating, and testing. Here is the final product...
Introducing the most functional travel bag you'll ever own:
It can also be a backpack (because why not?)
It's available in three (3) colors:
3 bags-in-1
We decided, why stop at just one bag? The front pockets detach and become separate bags! Now you have a weekender, a backpack, and a sling bag!
The Travel Cord Organizer takes care of your wires. It helps you manage your earphones, chargers, hard drives, extra batteries, and anything that has a wire. It also has a small zipper pocket to store your USB flash drives.
The Toiletry Kit lets you compartmentalize your bathroom essentials. There are open pockets for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, whatever you want. The zipper pockets can hold floss, Q-tips, razor, extra pair of contacts, medicine, and more.
We developed our materials with the same suppliers that high end brands do business with to help ensure its quality and integrity. Each material was tested, evaluated, and re-valuated. No detail is too small.

BALLISTIC NYLON VS CASUAL NYLON
The casual nylon has a smaller weave than the ballistic nylon, but it is as durable and as abrasion resistant as the ballistic nylon. We wanted a casual nylon because the fabric looks canvas-like from a distance, and it gives the JW Weekender a more carefree feel.
We have tested our bag to make sure the material and construction pass the normal wear and tear of everyday use, plus more.
45lbs of weight was placed in the bag for below tests.
Both handle straps were jerked 1250 times together, and then each handle was jerked 625 times. Jerked a total of 2500 times. Test results: hardware and handle straps were ok. No breakage.
Both backpack straps were jerked 1250 times together, and then each backpack strap was jerked 625 times. Jerked a total of 2500 times. Test results: hardware and backpack straps were ok. No breakage.
Top handle was jerked a total of 2500 times. Test results: top handle and seams were ok. No breakage.
Crossbody strap was attached to the weekender. It was jerked a total of 2500 times. Test results: hardware and crossbody strap were ok. No breakage.
20lbs of weight was placed in the detachable backpack for below tests.
