About us and this campaign
We are Moshav, an internationally acclaimed American/Israeli rock group. Moshav began when childhood friends Yehuda (vocals, percussion) and Duvid (vocals, guitar) made music together on Moshav Mevo Modiin in Israel. The group was initially discovered by a group of American students traveling in Israel who heard the band play and raised money to bring them to the states for a college tour in the late 1990s. Soon after, Moshav relocated to Los Angeles where they continued to grow their fan base and began recording with some of the industry’s best.
We have made a lot of music for you all and you all have been incredibly receptive and supportive. We just released our single and music video, "World on Fire" with Matisyahu and the reception has been really amazing! We want to release our best album yet, "New Sun Rising" with new songs and acoustic versions plus remixes and of course new breathtaking and meaningful music videos.
What We Need & What You Get
We need 20k to make this happen and it is our goal, but of course the more money, the bigger our dream and its reality could be. We want you to be a part of it, we want you to hear us on the radio, we want you all to be involved in our next videos. We have awesome prizes too! We will sing for you, we will play in your living room, we will clean your kitchen, we will sing a personalized voicemail for you and your friends and of course you get to receive copies of the deluxe album you helped make!
The Impact
We feel that Moshav has a unique voice that speaks to the world in a language of the world, music and inspiration. We want to continue to sing songs inspired by the beauty that's in the world, the positivity that we are all capable of and the teachings of our dear Rabbi, Rav Shlomo Carlebach. 2012 saw Moshav on tour with Alex Clare as well as continuing to tour on their own throughout the USA and the world. The band recently released their new single “World on Fire” featuring Matisyahu, along with an accompanying visual, which serves as the first offering from our forthcoming album "New Sun Rising" (watch here). We want to continue to produce content to inspire the world and put more positive and important messages and music out into the world.
