You can easily reach your laptop from the side compartment - which is extra padded for the safety of the laptop. You can almost drop your bag - nothing will happen to the laptop. 

When you bring your charger, passport, EarPods, lipgloss, a pen, a pencil, lip balm, a cord, cash, sunglasses or other things.. You dont have anywhere to put them in traditional duffels. UNTIL NOW.. We created a utility area in one side, with many pockets and compartments.

The pocket on the outside, is great for storing your phone or keys. It has a waterproof zipper and the same soft inner lining to protect your valuables.

On the inside of the bag, there are lots of space for your clothes and 6 mesh pockets in different sizes. This is a great way to organize your socks, underwear, toiletries, ties and more.

Prototypes

We worked for a long time to make this, our first bag and we are so proud of our accomplishment. Over a year of work and many samples and designs, has brought us to this point and we are ready to put the Duffel into production. 

These drawings are not from the final prototype - they are early drawings of how we imagined the bag to be. 

How we decided on our manufacturer: 

The Harrison duffel are being made in Guanzhou, China. The reason why we wanted to produce the bags in China is because of the partners we met. They made us some prototypes of our initial designs. They were very flexible in our choice of materials, reliable and quality focused.

The factory has 25 years of experience in producing bags and they are working with big global brands selling quality gear.

The production and fulfillment plan:

Production will take 40-50 days. 

When the production is finished, the manufacturer have a quality control program where they look at every single bag to make sure that there are no rotten apples. 

After this, the bags will be shipped to each warehouse. 

We are choosing to use warehouses placed so that it will be optimized for customs. China and USA have great postal and courier deals with the rest of the world. 

This is why we are going to use a warehouse in Guangzhou and in Los Angeles. We are planning to ship some EU bags from Denmark as well.

Risks and challenges

We have been working on the Harrison Duffel design for the past year because we want every person who gets this bag to love it. The ethos of our team is to not just make another product filled with useless features, but actually think about how this design can bring value. 
We trust the production quality of our manufacturer and that they will finish the products on time. We are confident that we will be able to deliver the products on time. 
There will be challenges with delivery because of the worldwide shipping, but we have partnered with a fulfillment partner that is experienced in shipping for crowdfunding campaigns. 
Unexpected delays can happen, but we are fully committed to ensure that all our backers will get the best product and that we will solve every issue that might happen.
