THE PRODUCERS

BEN SCHWARTZ - WRITER/PRODUCER/DIRECTOR

Ben is a creative filmmaker, producer, director, and editor with over 14 years of experience making short films that have received notable recognition. At 19 he sold his horror short film "Polaroid" to esteemed horror studio ALTER. He received an audience award at NFFTY and was accepted into Oscar Qualifying festivals such as SIFF. His most recent film "Abducted Anonymous", was an official selection at Boston Sci-Fi, the largest and most prestigious sci-fi film festival in the US.

DENIZ AKYUREK - PRODUCER

Deniz is a Turkish-American filmmaker based in Boston. His films have played at Academy Award qualifying festivals such as Flickers Rhode Island Int’l, Provincetown Int’l, and Chicago Int’l. They have played at top genre festivals such as Boston Underground, and prestigious youth festivals like NFFTY. His work was featured in Luna Collective Magazine’s 2020 art book Introspection, as well as the popular filmmaking magazine No Film School.

SPENCER STRICKLAND - CO-WRITER/ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

Spencer has been involved in all aspects of filmmaking: screenwriting, directing, casting, cinematography, and editing. He is working in the industry as a production assistant for companies such as A24 and Netflix. He graduated in 2023 with a BA in film production at Emerson College.
