Tessa Wood plays Rita
Tessa Wood grew up in East Yorkshire before coming to London to train at Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Having expected to go down the classical theatre route, her early career took an unexpected turn, and she found herself spending two glorious years in The Rocky Horror Show – first at the old The King’s Road Theatre, and then transferring to The Comedy Theatre (now the Pinter) in the West End. She played Boy George’s Mum for Mark Ronson International opposite Diane Kruger, Pearl in Love of Words opposite Charles Dance, and was a bolshie social worker in Michael Caton Jones’s first film – The Sanitorium which went on to win several awards. Tessa has almost completed filming a wonderful lead role in An English Haunting for Charlie Steeds at Dark Temple Entertainment. This will have global DVD release at the end of 2019. Alice offley plays Saffron
Alice is a passionate and sensitive actor with a love of drama and comedy.She has experience on screen and stage, and she works as a professional musician in her spare time.acting at UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television. The role of Saffron appealed to Alice as the character walks the line of very strong and conflicting emotions! Simultaneously weak while strong and vulnerable yet wild. Corinne Delacour plays Judith
Corinne is a versatile French actress with credits in theatre, films and commercials. She has a great knowledge of Shakespeare work and performed in “A Midsummer Night’ s Dream”, “Macbeth” and “Much Ado About Nothing”. She was, recently, Valentina, in “Stars in the Morning Sky” performing in London. She is also an established French/English Voice- Over artist with credits dubbing movies and commercials. Corinne trained at Drama Studio London, London.

Lesley Molony plays Suzy
Lesley trained at Guildford school of Acting and have broad experience in Plays ,West end Musicals, Regional Theatre, Fringe, Television ,Film and role play. She is also a Nurse and Midwife and can play medical roles realistically. After a five year break she returned to Acting and am enjoying the challenge. She enjoys new writing /plays and keep up to date at workshops with leading casting directors at The Actors Guild and Casting Workshops. Lesley is an experienced stage and film actress who loves new writing and independent films .shortly to be doing a comedy for Manchester fringe .
Mother and Wild is a real journey for the protagonists and spans years of intriguing family dynamics and friendships some volatile ,combined with wonderful locations of interest steeped in history.

Kimberley Adams plays Joy
Kimberley graduated from The Academy of Creative Training in 2012. She had spent many years as a singer/songwriter before re training as an actress. Her theatre credits include `An Experiment With an Air Pump`, `How to Disappear Completely and Never be Found`, `Cranford` (adapted by Frank McCabe), `Beside the Kitchen Table` and `Our Mutual Friend` (adapted by Frank McCabe). But her true love is for screen acting where her skills as a versatile character actress have earned her roles in award winning films including a nomination for Best Actress for her lead role in `Parallel City’. Kimberley grew up in Northern Ireland, but now lives on the South Coast with her Husband, 2 children and their rescue dog, Betsy.

Matthew Bohun - Director of Photography
Matt is the Director of Photography for this project. His passion is to create mood and atmosphere, which accentuates the story's central themes through its cinematography. Matt is a Welsh, studied film at The University of York two years ago and I now operate in the film industry as a lighting technician here in London. He often works as a spark on big projects and as a gaffer on smaller scale ones. Creatively manipulating light to provoke emotions and create an aesthetically pleasing and cinematic image is what I work for. Joe Connelly - Sound Recordist
Joe finished final year of BA degree in filmmaking at Met Film, graduating in Summer 2015 after taking year out to get shooting work experience before rejoining to do final year in 2014. He is a mature student - 65 years but still very active and looking for second career to keep active and challenged. Wide experience of project management and administration in prior professional services career for 40 years but looking for new challenges. Joe has done sound recording role on around 30 short films to date outside of Met Film degree projects.
Vanessa Dade - Wardrobe
Vanessa has a degree in 3D design from Brighton University where she won the Best of British award in 2010. She also won an Ethical innovation award in 2011. She started up her own fashion label in the creation of an up cycled leather concept stocked in Liberty store in Regent street, London. She has a passion for restoring and collecting Vintage clothes especially the 1930s era and creating jewellery from found antique objects. Vanessa admires the foreign film cinema scene rather than Hollywood.
Charlie Emseis - Editor
Charlie is a London-based film and video editor with credits on features, shorts, documentaries and commercials. What drives him is crafting engaging, entertaining and enlightening content to be enjoyed by different audiences and as his passion lies in working on compelling social dramas, he is a great fit to take the editing reins on Mother & Wild. Charlie is a proactive and tireless editor who would make a great addition to any production team. He is one of those rare editors who also naturally serve as an inspiring craftsman for the director. With a background in documentary filmmaking, Charlie exhibits strong interpersonal skills and a unique capacity for empathy. These qualities most notably translate in his ability to motivate a team to care about its project and be invested in the project’s success. Theo Baldauf - Production Assistant
Theo graduated in 2018 with a degree in computer science and music technology. Having had the opportunity to work in the post production sound department on the 2017 ‘Jumanji’ film, as well as his work on smaller projects, Theo has developed a deep appreciation of the differences and challenges that occur on small and large productions. Theo’s ambition is to develop his skills in post production sound.
Nigel Fields Producer
Nigel is passionate about film and works for a film company in London. He read earlier drafts of `Mother & Wild` and gave Mark valuable feedback, from which has been able to improve the script to great lengths. Non-film related interests include Kayaking and spending time with his wife in Dungeness.
Mark Forbes - Writer-producer-director-camera operator
Mark has made ten short films and one documentary film. His first ever-short film: ‘Hobgoblin` was screened at the Raindance Film festival of 2000. After that, he started calling himself an indie filmmaker. He collaborated with his late stepfather, Norman Adams who wrote the scripts for his early short films: `Hobgoblin`, `Bath Night` and `Those Radio Times`. While he edited, produced and directed the films. Norman taught Mark a lot about the world of filmmaking and screenwriting. Mark has also taken a few classes at Raindance Ltd under the guidance of Elliot Grove and Dov S Siemens.
