The Story
Our campaign revolves around two brothers are tasked with cleaning out the remnants of their recently deceased father's house, only to find a secret he took to his grave. This story tackles issues of grief, toxic masculinity, internalized homophobia and generational problems.
We mainly follow the eldest brother, Isaiah, as we learn more about his estranged relationship with his father. Throughout the story we see the differences between Isaiah and his brother, Jamie, and how both of them have different perceptions of their father. As they clean up the house they discover a certain secret about their father and that forces them to rethink about their perceptions and relationships about their dad.
What We Need & What You Get
We require $2,000 in funding to cover production costs, including travel, location fees, catering, film festival fees, insurance, permits, marketing and other film expenses.
As a token of our gratitude, we're offering unique perks like exclusive merchandise, digital copies of the film's signed poster, and even the title of Executive Producer. In the event that we don't reach our entire funding goal, rest assured that every dollar will still go towards the production of this film.
