My name is Wendy Darling
I have worked in the business of music and dance since I was 3. At the age of 14 I met my first Love and late husband David Carron. He played at Woodstock on the Free stage, made an album on Columbia Records and wrote a top 40 hit song for Alice Cooper. He and my father built the stage on the shore of the lake for as a platform. Music and Mermaids began to bubble up in 1967 and music became a wonderful part of our life. I have been promoting concert events in the summer since that time. Music, food, family fun, kids of all ages and magical unions are made. Last year was a rough year for many and although we have created these events without charge, it has become increasingly more difficult to do so. We are asking for assistance to continue to gather and connect. Some of the music we have promoted has helped bands further their musical careers and meet other musicians, creating an opportunity to make more amazing music. It has been a very important venue to many. With your kindness and generosity we hope to continue for years to come.

The Impact
The people who attend these events leave changed in a very positive way and meet like minded people, other musicians and create new contacts. The children share with other children in new connected ways. The music lifts and transforms the soul. Many have experienced great value in these gatherings, either making music on a level they had not before, or meeting and connecting with other musicians to create new music. The Love people share and leave with is carried into the world heart to heart, one person at a time, making a big difference in all of our lives.
