Worldwide Component Shortages
After working on R&D for over 1.5 years on this project, we've seen firsthand the issues caused by worldwide shortages in both semiconductors and microchips. This is causing serious component lead-time delays which are affecting nearly all major production focused industries. We have mitigated this as much as possible by placing an advanced order for all of the components required in order to fulfil the first batch of monitors.
COVID-19 The global pandemic is still causing ongoing issues with shipping and logistics worldwide. We are always keeping an eye on the latest developments, but right now, there is a delay risk to shipping should your country or region or our manufacturing partners encounter new local restrictions.
Communication Protocol: any lead time issues or shipment delays will be communicated to the community as quickly as possible.
As a company on a mission to improve the health and well-being of pets, we feel it is our duty to carefully consider the environmental impact of our product. We plan to work on the following areas:
Improve packaging design & choose sustainable materials where possible
Reduce the impact of fulfilment by being mindful of logistics & shipping
Create recycle processes where old devices, in particular batteries and other parts, are carefully disposed of and re-usable parts are up-cycled or re-used internally for R&D.
