In celebration of humanity's extraordinary achievements in space exploration, INTERSTELLAR, powered by Col&MacArthur, is unveiling a new timepiece: the Automatic RED3,721 Collection. This captivating watch pays tribute to NASA's 2020 Mars Perseverance mission, proudly featuring the official NASA logo. Infused with genuine Mars meteorite dust and rich with symbolic design elements, it stands as a powerful emblem of human space exploration.
After years of planning and massive investments, NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover was set to launch for its 11-year-long expedition. On the 30th of July 2020, the rover took off from Florida’s space coast aboard a united launch Alliance Atlas V rocket.

Perseverance landed on the Jezero crater, a strategic point on Mars, considered the most dangerous landing ever attempted by the american space agency because of its relief.

The name "RED3,721" carries significant meaning: "Red" refers to Mars, often called the Red Planet, while "3,721" corresponds to the planet's gravity as measured during NASA's mission.

INTERSTELLAR has partnered with MSG Meteorites, a British company specializing in certified space rocks and licensed by the International Meteorite Collectors Association (IMCA Inc.). Through this collaboration, we ensure that you can trace the history, origin, and technical specifications of the meteorite embedded in your timepiece.
Martian meteorites are extremely rare and offer valuable insights into the composition of Mars. Our meteorite, identified as "NWA14269," was discovered in 2021 in Northwest Africa. Like most meteorites, it is named after its location of discovery.

This meteorite underwent meticulous processing, transforming it into fine dust that has been thoughtfully integrated into our watch. The meteorite dust is housed within a sapphire glass chamber at the 3 o'clock position on the dial.
Your timepiece will come with a certificate of authenticity.
*For more information about the meteorite used, we invite you to check the laboratory mass spectrometry analysis of our meteorite ID#NWA 14269. HERE.

STANDARD FLIGHT: To make this timepiece even rarer, we propose to send your "RED3,721" into near space at an altitude of 30km. In direct contact with an environment that is close to -60°C and a pressure close to 0.
The watch is collected by a company specialized in this field, and then delivered to you in perfect condition with a certificate authenticating the altitude of the flight.

PREMIUM FLIGHT: This premium option allows a standard flight with an onboard camera filming the ascension from the ground to an altitude of 35 km.
The video features the last flight into near space of the "LUNAR 1969" - carbon version from the watchmaker Col&MacArthur.
