Overview

Nemesis Prime, once the noble Optimus Prime, now stands as a dark shadow of his former self, ruling the Decepticons with ruthless precision. However, the former Decepticon leader, Megatron, has returned to challenge this corrupted symbol of hope and reclaim his rightful throne. In a brutal gladiatorial showdown—no transformations, no guns—their fates will be decided. Only one can emerge victorious, and only through death will the true Decepticon leader reveal itself. 

In this thrilling 16 minute action drama film, "Nemesis Prime Vs Megatron" takes the fight to new heights in Part 5 of the JOHNNYFLASH's Nemesis Prime YouTube series. Combining stunning 3D Blender animation with carefully crafted Machinima sequences filmed in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, this episode delivers heart-pounding action and gripping dialogue that will immerse any Transformers fan.

Mission

The goal with this series is to create the best Transformers fan series possible with everything operating at the highest caliber possible for me. I love to push my limits and the Nemesis Prime series has been a great conduit for that! What once started as a troll horror skit evolved into something special and bigger than I could have ever imagined. 

Careful attention was given to every aspect of this film. Even down to ensuring all assets are from the original game, "Transformers Fall of Cybertron" to maintain continuity and style from my Machinima videos. It will be a seamless transition from Machinima to Animation. 

Choreography

The entire fight was choreographed by me with the help of friends, right in my garage and at a local park. They pitched in as actors and crew, making the whole process a real team effort. We even created a previs, which served as a reference for the animators to replicate our movements and camera angles. It was my first time choreographing a live-action fight, but hiring a professional wasn't in the budget, so I just went for it. This all took place during the COVID lockdown in 2020, so we had plenty of free time which explains the face masks.I'm really proud of how it turned out, and I imagine the animators had a blast watching me attempt some of those wild stunts. Sure, I may have looked goofy in the moment, but trust me—the final render is incredible.

A relatively small cast but rest assured, this film is laser focused with no throw away characters. Only 3 voice actors were needed and these are some of the most talented people I know. The near perfect impressions of Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are unmatched from what I've seen online and you will have hard time hearing the difference with the performances. Trust me, these are the best. 

Sound

Special attention was given to the sound design of the fight. Over 80% of the sounds used are ripped from the game "Transformers Fall of Cybertron" to ensure complete accuracy to the source material. My goal was to make it look, feel and sound like a cutscene from the games while also sounding like it could belong on the big screen. The result is a soundscape that feels like a high budget Transformers movie with satisfying sci fi sounds and deep basses for those draw dropping moments. Budget Milestone Goals

$7,000 - An intense heart pumping action film that dives into the complicated relationship between Prime and Megatron while also delivering on action that rivals the Hollywood Transformer movies. The film will be finished with minimal effects and bare minimum animations completed. All costs to make this film will be successfully covered. Be prepared to be on the edge of your seat.

$10,000 - This is the full version of the film! The budget will go into further polishing up the animation, hiring a professional VFX compositor and a professional Blender artist for real time simulations. Extra scenes will be added in as well that were originally out of my budget.

$15,000+ - If we raise $15,000 and beyond, I will reinvest whatever is left it into the next project and begin preproduction immediately once this film is released. If we can get here, that would be amazing.
