We’re bringing Newsies to the stage in a completely student-led production—organized, directed, and performed by local college students and recent alumni. This is Matthew Rechen’s senior thesis project, giving him the chance to showcase his talent in a full-scale musical production. The show will be performed on July 11 and 12 at the Grand Ritz Theater in Escondido. We are partnering with local businesses who have been impacted by recent downtown construction to bring more foot traffic to Grand Ave.
