Overview
Hello, we are Dominique Satterwhite and Nicholas Coker, the producer and director of Night of the Living Date. We are film students at The University of Alabama in the midst of production for our passion project. We have worked together on previous productions and felt it was finally time create our own film! Night of the Living Date is a script written by Nicholas and with my help, we hope to bring it to the big screen. Read below to see how you can help!
Synopsis
Maria has been invited to a dinner party by her best friends Jen and Bob, and they want her to bring a date. On her way home from her job as a nurse at the local hospital, Maria hears strange broadcasts reporting about strange ghouls who seem to be true incarnations of the living dead… The next night, she ends up bringing one of the zombies to the dinner party as her date! Jen, Bob, and the rest of the guests are certainly shocked by this unusual guest who speaks in moans, can detach his own hand, and eats what appear to be human body parts! What will become of Maria and Sheldon the zombie? Is this a romance they can take to the grave, or is it only till death do they part? Find out in Night of the Living Date!

Meet the Crew
Director: Nicholas Coker is the director and writer of Night of the Living Date. He is a student of Film and Theatre at UA as well as a cartoonist for The Crimson White newspaper. Night of the Living Date is his second short film and another treasured brainchild for him. What he likes the most about the film is that he gets to pull inspiration from two of his favorite genres: classic horror and comedy. His favorite horror film is George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead.
Producer: Dominique Satterwhite is a Senior from Harvest, AL majoring in Telecommunications & Film. She hopes to find a job as a producer working on sets in Atlanta and LA. She strives to continue developing her interests in scriptwriting, location scouting, and production design. If she’s is not in Reese Phifer, you can catch her watching some of her favorite horror movies such as The Bride of Chucky.
Director of Photography: Seth Farmer is a producer and director at the Center for Public Television. He has shot and directed several short films, but this will be his first time shooting horror. His favorite horror film is The Exorcist.
