Short Summary
PartMine Pictures is a small Calgary production company made up of talented local artists, all with the aim of producing quality work that should make people laugh.
Our first pilot show is a mocumentary called, Night Sticks, which follows a local security guard company's adventures in and around Calgary. Watch the team from Eagle Eye Security as they confront and run from thieves, vagrants, drunks, pimps, hookers, a rival security firm, campus partiers, a troubled punk kid, cowboys, a serial killer -- and each other.
Our goal is to produce Night Sticks as a quality web-series with the hope that it will gain a following.
What We Need & What You Get
In addition to our own personal monthly contributions, we hope to raise $2,080. This money will primarily fund our costumes, and our equipment rental fees for approximately two to three months.
We have some neat perks available for those that are willing to splurge. Really though, we'd love for a lot of people to just give a little -- like even $2, $5, $10, or $20. But, if you want an Eagle Eye Security pen or mug, a Night Sticks hat, a shirt, or a day waterskiing and BBQing on the lake with the cast and crew--here's your chance to get involved.
Even if we don't reach our goal, we still will put the funds to good use and find other means (bottle drives, street begging, un-armed robbery) to make it happen. We are striving ahead no matter what.
The Impact
Besides the potential for laughter and creative fun, the big difference is we're going to be out there doing what we love.
We're going to give our artists and others in the community exposure online, possibly on TV. Some are moving from a theatre background to moving pictures to broaden their experience or to try something new. Other members are quite experienced and love what they do, and just want to continue to create. Sometimes creative opportunites seem tough to find. In our case, we decided to take it upon ourselves--and everyone of us is making it happen.
Other Ways You Can Help
Even if you're unable to contribute, spread the word and be sure to use IndieGogo's sharing tools online to help let others know.
We truly appreciate everyone's help! Thank you!
And that’s all there is to it.
