Stories inspired by horror cinema--from Poe to Alien, ghosts and ghouls, slasher films, tales of terror, B-Movie scream fests, monster movies, Stephen King creepiness, stylized Kubrick hauntings, Romero zombies, demon possession, occult, and otherwise.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the theater.
It’s the final film festival of souls presented by the horror hostess with the mostess, Shelley Poe Stoker, and her malevolent minions, the terrifying tropes: The Welder and Eerie Erin.
We all go a little mad sometimes. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Whatever you do, don't fall asleep. Sometimes, dead is better. It’s Halloween; I guess everyone’s entitled to one good scare.
Higher tier backers can receive:

Carmilla Unbound
Earlier this year, we launched CARMILLA UNBOUND: 1973, a NSFW thriller featuring the original literary vampire reborn in blood, sex, and magic.
Based on the erotic novella by Sheridan Le Fanu that inspired Bram Stoker's vampire tale 26 years later, CARMILLA UNBOUND is for people who think Dracula would've been better if it had more lesbians and wasn't so long-winded.
"1973" is a 26-page one-shot written by Nightmare Theater creators Clay Adams (Blazing Blade of Frankenstein, Red X-Mas, Deadskins, Prodigal Son) and D.E. Schrader (Baby Badass, Rafael Garcia: Henchman, Cannibals on Mars), edited by Malissa White (Nightmare, Soundbox, PanelxPanel) and featuring the art of Ismael Canales (Athena Voltaire, The Catch, Zenescope´s Robyn Hood and Belle), and colors by Alex Zief (Cult of Dracula, Hatchet, Monster Matador).

You have your popcorn, soda, and a creepy sense of foreboding as you make your way into the darkened theater. You’re ready to settle into your seat and let the latest horror film wash over you like a deluge of viscous blood pouring from an Overlook Hotel elevator. You like to be scared. You like to scream, to bolt upright in your seat, to cover your eyes, then open them again-- to see the mysterious maneuvers of a ghostly apparition, the twisted machinations of a sinister spirit, the splatter from a psycho’s blade, a monster mash, a demonic possession, a zombie moan, and everything in between.
You like horror movies. So do we. You like comics. So do we. You like horror comics. So do... well, you get the idea.
Thanks for joining us at the Nightmare Theater.
Hope nothing grabs you in the dark...
Risks and challenges
The book is well into production and we have a track record of delivering on our promises. Right now, the biggest risk is unforeseen challenges like the world-wide supply chain issues--paper shortages, postal delays, etc.--that flared up over the last couple of years. But like the best final girls, we'll see this thing through to the end... come hell or high water.
