TERRY MULLIGAN is a middle aged builder, tasked this particular day with renovating an old Victorian house in the Hertfordshire countryside. Meanwhile we watch KAREN, comfort a younger Terry at age 8 at home while they grieve his brother, her son HARRY.
In the present day, Terry is extremely stressed, constantly receiving inaudible phone calls from MICHELLE, adding to his distress. Whilst removing the ancient floorboards Terry discovers a skeleton, he instantly feels an empathy with the skull. He removes it and converses with it as if it is an old friend he hasn't seen in a lifetime.
Karen forces unhealthy coping techniques onto Terry, such as personifying Harry's belongings, and not facing the grief head on.
The duo go to various locations during the day ending in a brothel. Terry's naivety to his insanity leads to an altercation in the brothel. Terry is beaten and separated from the skull.
Left in this vulnerable state he returns to his mother. To question why she never stopped his unhealthy habits of mourning. They reach a conclusion and console each other.
Locations - this film is wrote for an urban environment, but to catch the perfect atmosphere we have to pay certain shops etc for they're involvement.
Actors - due to the intensity of the script, we require older actors. Which the good ones do not come for free.
Train tickets around London, enough said.

As an aspiring screenwriter, this film is evidence for my style and technique. Once I have graduated it will be a key tool along with my other films of my particular taste.
Its also helping the entire crew out... from set dressers to DOP's we all are trying to make a name for ourselves in our chosen discipline, so stakes are high to make this our best work yet.
