We've got Wheels!
But we need help getting them turning
We are Nicole and Andrew, coffee and tea lovers with an entrepreneurial spirit. I have been dreaming of opening up a coffee shop for years and with Andrew's design skills and my love for DIY adventures, we finally took the plunge and began building Nomad Coffee in late 2015.
Nomad is a mobile coffee shop located in Vermont. We are on a mission to bring good coffee to the bedroom communities of the greater Burlington area. We want to make your morning commute and weekend outings a happier one. But we are not quite there yet, we could use your help to get us rolling and brewing.
What We Need
You can be a part of getting great coffee to your neighborhood!
We need to raise $15,700 to purchase:
-
La Marzocco espresso machine
-
Brew Batch machine, Grinders and accessories
- Permits & Licenses
-
Refrigerator, water tank, filtration system and sinks
-
Generator
- Plumbing & Electrical
The Perks
There is a little something something for everyone who donates. We have..
We've also just introduced (as of July 12) a
'Pitch Your Perk' option. Don't see what you'd like above? Or want something for a different price? Send us an email at
hello@nomadcoffeevt.com with your desired perk and what you are willing to contribute and we'll get back to you within a day. Maybe you want to be the hero at work and bring Nomad to your office? Pitch it!
We look forward to hearing from your ideas!
If we don't reach our campaign goal we will still use all the generated funds to help us purchase our equipment. Every little bit helps us get to our launch date sooner.
The Impact
Behind every great community is a Coffee Shop. Being able to provide a mobile service will give us the freedom to serve the morning commuters during the week while allowing us to fuel outdoor enthusiasts on the weekends. We want to serve you coffee, wherever you are working or playing!
We are working to support our fellow Vermont businesses. Our coffee beans, teas and baked goods are sourced right here in VT. Plus we love doing all the hippy stuff that comes along with being a socially responsible business, like composting our coffee grinds, sourcing local goods and being members of 1% for the Planet.
Risks and Challenges
We have lovingly built Nomad with our hands, hearts, and friends and navigated the web of regulations, permits, and licenses that come along with mobile food vending. Now all that's left to do is purchase our equipment and start serving you coffee! We are almost there and every donation and shared link will help us get to our goal faster. Please help spread the word and be a part of bringing great coffee and a new business to Vermont.
