Enter Ray Hammond.
Take control of a private eye with nothing to lose, answering a phone call in a night like any other. You equip yourself with the classic detective gear and on the hunt you go. Investigate the crime scene, interrogate some contacts, snoop around following clues. And as soon as you poke your nose deep enough, the big trouble begins. Try to solve the case with your wits, or your guns.

The game will be divided in episodes; each one will
contain one case, one story, always noir, always bizarre. We aim to deliver obscure
themes with a touch of corruption and paranormal mystery.
In the initial episode of NoseBound, you’ll play as
the character Ray Hammond, a private eye with gritty past and unorthodox
methods to pull off his job. Yet in later episodes, you’ll also get to play
with alternate characters, like Mrs. Kovacks, the femme fatale that you’re
always bound to collide with in every noir ambiance.
Episodes 1 and 2 share the same case, so they are both part of a same story, they both have an individual argumentative arc, but as part of a bigger story. But episodes 3 and 4 are new and different cases.
The game will be released DRM-Free & through
Steam (For which we've already done a successful Steam Greenlight campaign) and other stores.

The game is presented as an old school point &
click adventure, tuned in to achieve a more enjoyable experience. The
main character moves around with pointer clicks from your mouse (PC) or touch
(iPad). In the course of the story, you’ll get to investigate several
interactive areas with a tri-action menu using options such as "talk
to", "take / interact with", and "look or
investigate". In the game’s inventory, you’ll be able to combine items to
solve puzzles or exchange items with other characters.

There are third person scenes of gameplay and first person scenes of gameplay in which you can see from Ray Hammond´s eyes to solve a puzzle, crack a code or pick a lock. And also, you’ll find yourself in gunplay situations at the end of each episodes to emphathize drama.

On this first episode we aim to release the game for PC and Mac only. But with the production of the second episode we
aim to port both chapters to Linux, iPad and Android tablets.
The game will be sold on many stores like Steam but will be also distributed DRM-Free via our own store on the official website of the game, for those who like to stay "unplugged".

On the Ipad version we're thinking to re-design
some of the puzzles to take advantage of the multi-touch technology and the
accelerometer.

The game is in pre-beta stage right now, if there's such a thing. We have 85%
of the 1st episode already done, and up that point the game is completely
playable with no crashes. This represents
an average of 3 and a
half hours of gameplay time. The art is in a final stage, but
some backgrounds and character animations still need some polish. We want to add some ambient animation to some of the backgrounds that at the moment are looking too still.
Additionally, we also
have the screenplay and many of the puzzles already designed for episodes 2, 3
and 4 as well.

In order to complete
this 1st episode, we still need to record 50% of the English voice overs and
the complete Spanish voice overs, we need to translate all subtitles to French,
German, Portuguese, and Italian, and we still need to create 50% of the
original music and sound track. We’re currently working on two of the final cut-scenes and on the final process of polishing, custom animations of the characters for some of these remaining scenes, as well as on the debugging and porting to Mac and Ipad.

Depending on the Perk amount of your choice, you'll get these incredible rewards!:

We decided to make it a Flexible campaign because
we have a lot of hard work invested in this game, and it’s going to be released
one way or another, so every penny you invest in it will help the game get
there sooner and better.
It’s very important to stress that episodes 1 and 2 of NoseBound will be completed and will be released at least for PC and MAC regardless of the outcome of this crowd-funding campaign. We’ve gotten to this point after three years of continued effort, and are fiercely determined to release the game no matter what. However, we won’t be able to go much further than episode 2 with our own resources. We’re counting on the enthusiasm and support from the community and fans of adventure games in order to complete our beloved project!
If we reach our first goal of $30.000, we will be able to make
everything as we intended, with great quality, and on time, paying everyone
involved for their hard work. If we don't reach this intended goal, we will still
keep working with our current team members, taking contract jobs from time to
time to pay for our own time developing the game and to pay the services of
third party contributors, such as translators, voice actors, animators, etc.
So you might be thinking...
-But if you don't reach your primary goal, do I
still get my Perk?
The answer is Yes! If we
don't reach our primary goal we will still give each Backer the Perk they
pledged for. That's why we tried to keep Perks real, in a way that they represent things that we can deliver either way. Keep in mind that the money we ask is intended to
finish the game. Perks are supposed to be an incentive and not just a means
for selling items.

Our target audience, if we can put it in some
numbers, would be something like men and women between 25 to 60 years
old. PC, Mac or Linux users that love adventure games as much as we do. People that
grew up with LucasArts and Sierra games, who really miss those days when games
where so much more about mystery and intricate stories. Fans of the X-Files
Series, Humphrey Bogart flicks, a Clint Eastwood attitude towards police
affairs, people who have read at least one book by H.P. Lovecraft or Raymond
Chandler, and believe that magic is rare but possible. This game is for them.
We are those guys and we would definitely buy such game, but we are tired of
waiting for something like it, so we decided to make it ourselves. And we know
we are not alone. We are firm believers that there are a lot of people waiting
for a game like this, out there, in the dark.
So Back us now, and immerse yourself in this fantastic adventure.
From now, and forever. THANK YOU.
- Diego.

Here I leave you with some relevant words other have said about our game.
"Speaking of classic, it couldn't get any more classical than NoseBound, another point-and-click adventure that also seems to be set in the late 30's but this time in lovely noir-like style. While its horrific angle may not be apparent at first, the twisty and bizarre story apparently will delve into the obscure and occult while maintaining a black (or perhaps noire) sense of humor. " Agustin Cordes, Senscape
"I bumped casually with NoseBound, and to tell you the truth, I was immediately captivated by it. Noir aesthetics is something I always loved, moistly street hallways, dark alleys and underworld characters that makes your back chill. Sure, imagine my surprise when I discovered it was an Argentinian game. Local industry is growing and growing!". Lunatika, SHD (survival horror downloads).
"It's been a good week for film noir fans. Even as one pulp mystery adventure is released (Face Noir), now word out of Argentina is that a new episodic indie mystery called NoseBound is currently in production. " Jack Allin, Adventure Gamers
"This game
looks fantastic! The atmosphere, the art style and everything about it screams
NOIR. You're doing a great job, keep it up!" Daniel Vierna, Dark Motif
"NoseBound is a pretty dark adventure game with a very unique style. I'd really love to see it coming." Michael Stein, Adventure Treff
"It will be very interesting to play a Mike Hammer type investigator that is used to solving cases with his gun and fist, unraveling paranormal cases. The noir setting enhances the creepy atmosphere, the occult cases and the interesting set of characters." Ana Sprague, Game Boomers
"I love noir games. The dark, rain-soaked streets, the husky voiced detective and the lecherous criminal villains send strange thrills across my skull. But why are their titles so strange? Whatever it is, it works for me". Chris Priestman, Independent Journalist

PS: This is not the Ungodly being. It was a first concept of it though, but it didn't work out. And FYI it's not Cthulhu either!.
