The Impact
I am a fierce supporter of independent and low-budget film. Despite its challenges it offers so much freedom in terms of creativity and 11/01,1984 is something that should be seen for this reason.
The problem with low-budget is often it forces people to try and get things done for free. While this can work, it always degrades a film in some way. Therefore, with 11/01,1984 I just want enough budget to ensure the finished product is as good as it can be in every way - from visuals through to sound.
I know that if we can raise the funding we will be taking a beautiful film to the festivals in 2013, rather than an average film.
