Short Summary

Hey guys, it's Michael here! Thanks for taking the time to check out our campaign.  The concept of "Now" was introduced to me a few months ago in the book "The Power of Now" and has really had an impact in my life.  The main idea behind living in the Now is to quiet your mind when you don't need it in order to feel more fully present in each moment and in turn, more alive.  

I started to realize that this idea had seeped into my music and my life in very profound ways, so I decided to start a project that includes my friends, and begin a multi-media campaign to spread the idea of Now to as many people as possible.  We have decided to record an album I have written inspired by this idea. Additionally, we plan to make a music video, a web series documenting how our project is going, and create a number of creative and alternative marketing campaigns in order to introduce the public to our work. 

For me, this project is truly my dreams becoming a reality, and it is also an opportunity for my friends to work in highly specialized fields and get hands on experience in the work they love doing. For me, it is the beginning of my career as a musician, and your help could not be more appreciated.  Making music is the biggest joy in my life, and this project will have 100% of my efforts dedicated to it.  Thank you so much in advance for letting us live our dreams!

What We Need & What You Get

The Impact

As you already know, we are asking for $2750 to put toward this project. Here is a more detailed breakdown of how the money is going to be spent.

Album: $1000

Mixing/Mastering: $300-400

Physical album production: $400-500

Online Distribution/misc. costs: $100-200

Music Video: $1000

Equipment: $800

Transportation/Food for crew: $200

Marketing/General Equipment : $500

Misc Budget: $250

This is mostly to cover the Indiegogo fees, but will also be used toward any miscellaneous costs or expenses we have along the way.

Additional funding:

Any money we raise past the goal amount will go to producing an even better project. We will put additional funding towards higher quality equipment, editing, rewards, and use it to make this project go above and beyond even our expectations.

Risks & Challenges

One of the most obvious challenges for this project is raising the funding we need. While we're aware it's a significant amount of money, we're hoping the generosity of our friends, family, and fan base will allow us to match or exceed our funding.

We are dedicated to making this project as high quality as possible, even if we are unable to raise our goal. Obviously, the more money we raise, the better quality this project will be, but we believe that we can create something really incredible, and we're confident that we can make it happen.

Other challenges along the way could include things like scheduling conflicts and unexpected expenses, but our core team is dedicated and professional, and we believe that we can face any hardships with positivity and a determination to overcome.

Other Ways You Can Help

One of the biggest things we're asking is to spread the word, even if you are unable to donate to our project. We plan to have the music video and the album available to stream for free once the project is completed, and while any financial contribution would be ideal, the most important thing is spreading our message and our music.
