My plan is to develop Nusantara: Bermuda Triangle in a timeframe of 1 year. At the latest, it will be finished around early winter, 2018. Nevertheless, I will update every Monday. I've been doing this consistently for more than 2 years with my 1st & 2nd project at lemmasoft forum & facebook fanpage, so you will know exactly what I'm doing every week.
A lot of time will be invested in writing & editing. Bermuda will be a lot longer than my 1st project; Nusantara: Legend of the Winged Ones. For reference, the total of Bermuda's demo word count is 48k+ words while Winged Ones' demo is only around 19.5k+ words.
I am determined to finish this project no matter what so I set the funding type to be Flexible. However much I gain will be used for my project's development, pay the composers, pay the bills, and feed my 2 pups -granted, it will be slower and simpler since I need to do side-jobs. It has been my dream to be able to work at home surrounded by the things I love, so this is a big step for me.
Other expenses will be through my own pocket and further strengthened later by that 5% from funding plan.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT GAME DISTRIBUTION:
The finished game will be published in itch.io. Backers who have pledged for "Early Birds", "The Game <3", and "One for me & One for my buddy!" will be given itch.io Download Keys. Simply make an itch.io account, click the Download Key's link, and claim ownership to prevent anyone else from using it. After claiming ownership, you will be directed to the download page for Mac/Windows/Linux.
I will set the system so One key is for the use of One person only.
What about Steam?
I am willing to try Steam Greenlight if the first goal is reached & a lot of you want it on Steam. If the Greenlight succeeded, I will distribute Steam Keys instead of itch.io's Download Keys.

My original plan is to have 2 poses for each bachelors (1 main, 1 other. See Guntur's main gesture & his other gesture in demo). But if this stretch goal is reached, every bachelor will have 2 other gesture aside from the main gesture + 1 fighting pose; totalling 4 poses for each bachelor. Psst, I will also add more chibi animations & 2 additional costumes for the heroine & bachelors when they arrived at specific locations in game (Traditional Indonesia Batik & Winter clothes).

The warm welcome I received for Nusantara: Legend of the Winged Ones pushed me to make more visual novels with Indonesian elements in it. Please take note that Nusantara: Bermuda Triangle is NOT a sequel of Nusantara: Legend of the Winged Ones. It is set in the same world, but it will be in a wider horizon and a brand new story.
I really didn't expect myself to jump head first into becoming a visual novel developer since I didn't know a thing about programming 3 years ago, but who knew! After a trial of errors and tears, I feel that Ren'Py now is like a magic item which allows me to create a whole new world!

Yes, I know what you're thinking about; "Why so many composers!?" :'D Well, I'm quite picky about BGMs and if it doesn't get the 'feeling' I'm looking for, I will tell him/her to edit it as many times as it needed. Since making original musics will take a lot of time, I decided to look for composers who has piled original musics of their own and if I like it, I will get in contact with them and discuss the usage price right away. If it's free to use/CC BY, I will donate after I have the funds. The amount of donation will depend on how many music I use from every composer.

Risk & Challenges
You know, things happen in a game's production and there's life for me to live. But I will always let you know the progress I made & everything that happens every Monday so you will be there with me step by step. My motto is "Little by little will become a mountain." for me it means: "Commit yourself to progress every week and it will be finished before you know it!"
Also, don't worry about me having too many things on my plate. The reason I solo the art, script, and programming is so I can keep track of them myself and it's faster to polish the game this way. I mean, if I want to change/re-new something, I can quickly finish it in one day than having to pass it to someone else and the file will be passed back and forth for awhile until it become how it should be. Better than having to chase after someone who missed the deadline like a demon, yeah? x'D
The downside of this method is I will need more time compared to other projects.
