We're five guys who love comedy. We write sketches and laugh hysterically at our own antics. We think you will too.
The first season of O'Brother Comedy Series will feature 15 episodes. Our sketches run a myriad of themes, from action, sci-fi, fantasy, cop drama, social commentary, trans-humanism, animation, things falling on people, people falling on things, bank robberies, apocalypse, divine intervention, artificial intelligence, and if we have time...eggs.

Prepare for some kick-assery! Melinda Shankar joins our team! This news has us buzzing as Melinda brings her raw talent, beauty and martial arts skills to the table! Melinda has starred in Degrassi, shown her comedy chops in "How to be Indie", and starred in countless other amazing shows. She even has her own beauty company Miss Conception! Who knows maybe we'll do some vlogs and she'll give us all makeovers! That's actually a good idea...I'm going to write that one down...

We can't describe how excited we are to have Luke join our team. He's arguably the most handsome man to walk the planet. He has worked as an actor on Degrassi, Lost Girl, Adam's Testament among other dramatic roles, but we're excited to show you how genuinely funny Luke can be. We're glad to have him and you will be too.

Ray is an actor and stand up comic. He has enjoyed work on major film and TV projects, Degrassi, Orphan Black, Shadowhunters, Defiance, Beeba Boys and more. A huge fan of comedy, in every style, Ray brings a wealth of experience and talent to O'Brother. That's probably a good thing, right?

Shane has enjoyed work as an actor on major film and TV projects, Degrassi, Dog Pound and Combat Hospital. Also a musician, Shane plays drums for the rock band, Dear Love. He brings a big voice, charisma, abundant talent, and hilarious content to the table, over and over again.

Dalmar is a high energy performer, full to the brim with funny ideas. He has a wealth of experience in the industry as an actor, host and producer. Dalmar has worked on Degrassi, Majority Rules! and Pompeii as an actor. Additionally, Dalmar has years of experience as a producer and host for TVOkids.

Michael is a Youtuber and international man of intrigue. He's lived abroad in Japan, and hails from Nova Scotia. He brings perspective and ideas that are foreign, interesting and hilarious, to our group.

Scott joins the team as Director of O'Brother! Season 1. Scott's latest film "Pieces" (Starring Raymond Ablack) has gone on to premiere in several Film Festivals across North America & has been granted distribution later this year. Scott brings 15 years of experience working in front & behind the camera, to help bring O'Brother to your screen.

Film making is an expensive, collaborative effort. We need to pay our crew and post production team, rent better cameras, better equipment, tools, secure fantastic locations, insurance, sets, props, wardrobe, food on set. See what we mean? And there's much more, too much to list even. We value and respect your support. We think you ought to have input into the content you're helping to produce - we want to have a relationship with you! Q: How much money are you pocketing for yourselves?
A: Zero dollars! The value of this show getting made is worth more to us than making a few dollars off our friends and supporters - gross! We are performing in the show, but we are not collecting actor pay. We are deferring our pay to the production. The funds allocated for Talent are meant for the guest stars who we hire. And you'll love them!

If we don't reach our goal, we'll still make the show. But, we won't be able to offer the quality that the material, the audience, or that we deserve! As well, we'll have to wait on the long grant process to secure the requisite funding, and that will delay how quickly we can deliver your show. With your help, we can make this show, make you laugh and make you proud.
