We often look back with shame at the Holocaust. We remember especially stories of Jews who fled Nazi Europe, whom America turned away—and who ended up dying in camps.

 Who are the most persecuted peoples on earth today? And what is America’s responsibility towards them? Why does Barack Obama carry the lifelong honor of a Nobel Peace Prize? Does he deserve it?

 This documentary will ask these uncomfortable questions, and answer them in the stories of Christians and Yazidis persecuted by ISIS after President Obama pulled out U.S. troops and left Iraq in chaos. We will highlight their sufferings, the struggles, and their courageous will to survive. Central will be the faith that sustains persecuted Christian communities in Iraq, Syria, and other nations where Islamists wield violence against the “unbeliever.”

 Our guides through this landscape of oppression, violence, and resistance will be an American filmmaker, a Swedish heart surgeon and a young Yazidi girl who was kidnapped by members of ISIS,   Now they are campaigning to have a former U.S. president’s Nobel Peace Prize revoked.

Join our team as they visit refugee camps throughout Iraq and Syria, just a few miles from the frontlines of the war against ISIS. They will interview clergy, tribal leaders, and victims of terrorism and ethnic cleansing. The goal? To help Americans understand what happened to these countries, how dangerous Islamist terrorists really are, and what Americans can do to help today.

 The final product will be a powerful document of historical memory—and a powerful tool which activists, political leaders, clergy, and others can use to awaken the consciences of millions of Americans. We will record the testimonies of the most vulnerable, abandoned people on earth, and bring them to the U.S. media, the halls of Congress, and the White House.
