What We Need

Our fundraising goal of $1,350 covers Alipato Project's office rent for June through December.

Alipato Project's Mission

To repair the financial wellbeing of families in California by providing legal representation to domestic violence resisters in civil actions against their batterers.

The Impact

By donating to the Alipato Project, you demonstrate to domestic violence survivors that you believe they deserve attorneys to take on their case.

Litigating domestic violence tort cases not only financially compensates a victim for the harms they endured, but also puts batterers on notice that their future misconduct will come at a substantial price.

We reached our first settlement in the landmark Boblitt v. Boblitt case;
We succeeded in getting important motions sustained in court, while defending our clients from attorneys employed by mega law firms;
We hosted many events that built awareness about domestic violence remedies in civil court;
We recruited and trained passionate and talented volunteers; and
We've conducted many legal intakes, provided dozens of targeted referrals, and initiated eight civil actions on behalf of resisters of domestic violence!
