ONE PIECE: THE HUNT BEGINS

The project came from the desire to realize at last a live-action adaptation of one of the most loved manga of recent times, a comics still in publication since 1997, with such a crazy and brilliant story to capture millions of readers all around the world: well yes, we’re talkin’ about “One Piece”! The project is to make a 30-40 minutes video (but even more!) where, as the title suggests, there’ll be told (and retold in some points) the origins of those amazing characters everyone has learnt to love over the years. But the need to make this movie comes from what? The reasons are different, and the film industry at the time isn’t workin’ on any project concerning “One Piece” world. So, if you’re intending and inquiring to see Zoro, Nami, Usop, Sanji and the legendary Luffy / “Straw Hat” moving in a world more similar to ours, always looking for troubles and adventures, you have the opportunity to make it possible immediately! Il progetto nasce dal desiderio di creare finalmente un adattamento live action di uno dei manga più amati degli ultimi tempi, un fumetto ancora in pubblicazione dal 1997, con una storia così folle e geniale che ha catturato milioni di lettori in tutto il mondo: ebbene sì, stiamo parlando di ONE PIECE! Il progetto consiste nel realizzare un video di 30-40 minuti (ma anche più!) in cui, come già suggerisce il titolo, si andrà a narrare (e in alcuni punti a rinarrare) le origini dei fantastici personaggi che nel corso degli anni tutti hanno imparato ad amare.

Da cosa nasce però l’esigenza di fare questo film?

I motivi sono svariati, e l’industria cinematografica al momento non sta lavorando su alcun progetto riguardante il mondo di One Piece. Se siete quindi intenzionati e curiosi di vedere Zoro, Nami, Usop, Sanji e il leggendario Rufy/Cappello di Paglia muoversi in un mondo più simile al nostro, sempre a caccia di guai e avventure, avete da subito l’occasione di renderlo possibile! THE STORY

We do not intend to reveal too much and spoil the surprise, but you can be absolutely certain of one thing: we’re going to kill nothing has been already told in the original play. The story, as said before, won’t start with some already mature and conscientious characters, but will try to show the origins in a new interpretation. And how to do this, if not starting from the beginning? The movie will show the most iconic moments of the series, explaining what the One Piece is, the Devil Fruits, the reason why Luffy wears the straw hat and much more. For each sequence we’ll maintain the spirit of the manga we all love, with the addition of a little personal touch; the story is going to be told from a different point of view, moving partly away from the playful tone we know so to give life a more realistic and dark setting. Without too many spoilers, we can assure you that in these origins, sailers, battles, gom gom pistol, humour and so much fun won’t miss, all spiced from the wonderful pirate mood.

LA TRAMA

Non intendiamo svelare troppo e rovinare la sorpresa, ma su di una cosa potete stare assolutamente certi: non andremo a distruggere nulla di ciò che è già stato narrato nella storia originale. La storia, come già detto prima, non avrà inizio con dei personaggi già maturi e consapevoli, ma tenterà di presentarne le origini in una nuova chiave. E come si può fare questo, se non partendo dall’inizio? Il film mostrerà i momenti più iconici della serie, spiegando cos’è lo One Piece, cosa sono i Frutti del Diavolo, il perchè Rufy indossa il cappello di paglia e molto altro ancora. Per ogni sequenza sarà quindi mantenuto lo spirito del manga che tutti amiamo, con l'aggiunta di un piccolo tocco personale; la storia ci verrà narrata da un punto di vista differente, scostandosi in parte dal tono giocoso che conosciamo per dare così vita ad un ambientazione più realistica, cupa. Senza troppi spoiler, vi possiamo assicurare che in queste origini non mancheranno velieri,combattimenti, gom gom pistol, umorismo e tanto divertimento, il tutto condito dal fantastico clima piratesco.
