One week, Two Days
"How relationships can be absurd, yet real !"
Nine days between a loving couple who are living in the Middle East, where intimacy and relationships are hard to discuss in real life and in films.
The film is discussing very small yet important details that happen between a woman and a man in a sarcastic romantic film; which is something relatively new to the Arab short film industry.
Support us! why?
As filmmakers we are bound by the market requirements and rules, and as Arab artists we are always chased by constant censorship that kills our imagination and redefines our words.
"We want to make movies the way we like them, true, free and our own!"
Plus, making films is such a tough job, you
write and rewrite, you cast and recast , finding the right crew takes time, the preparation and meetings take days and days and this is only the "pre-production" and then we shoot in few sleepless days to move to the post-production phase! all that to make one short film!
But when you are serious about
filmmaking, your reward is your film, and this is what we are aiming for.
Where does the money go?
Creating an independent short film made with professional equipment costs much for : Renting Equipment: Camera, Lenses, rigs, sound Recording equipment / Renting Light Equipment / Renting Locations / Paying Actors / Crew Production Design / Set Requirements / Creating Original Score for the film Post Production needs / Editing / Colouring / Mixing / Sound Design.
Should we trust the Director? Film Crew?
