The Plan
Onward is a project brought to you by Noah Burton and Sam Hodgson with links to Hoot Creative Arts and Rattle & Thud.
Our aim is to put on an all day journey though town, visiting the some of the finest music venues in Huddersfield. The first 2 venues will be completely free in but to join the night time vibe we will ask for a small contribution to pay the artists.

Basically we would like to provide the best entertainment that we can afford but also want as many people to come as can fit in. Hiring great musicians at a fair price is something we should all strive for so we need some money to pay them. We are also aiming to get art and decoration in some of the venues so those artists need to be able to buy resources and get a little something to put towards survival.
By giving us £10 you will get into every venue all day with a great big welcome and no extra charge. The music scene will thank you, the musicians will be grateful, the venues will rejoice but most of all YOU; your mental health, your social life and your ears will be REALLY HAPPY!
Obviously though any donation is going to be hugely appreciated. The more money we get the more spectacular we can make it. Also, it should be said that most of the musicians will still be performing for very little!

Huddersfield
We're doing this because we LOVE LIVE MUSIC. We believe the Huddersfield Music Scene needs some nourishment and we want audiences to be rewarded for being excellent. All year and every year the audiences of Huddersfield show love, respect and kindness to our performing musicians so you deserve to have a festival in your town.
Obstacles
We're aware that this may not happen. If not enough people give us some money up front this simply wont work. Artists can't live off applause alone and if people aren't up for it then it can't go onwards. We think this could be a fantastic, memorable event and we hope you trust that we will make it one but all we have is hope that the people of Huddersfield and beyond will fund such a magical experience.
