Our Story
Bianca Brown is a native of Cleveland, OH. She came to Nashville, TN to be with her husband; the love of her life; and to fulfill Gods will for her. She is the CEO and President of Open Minds Open Heart Inc., a threefold ministry that focus on bringing knowledge, empowerment, and hope to the youth of our community. She has designed coursework to support these attributes in the girls she works with.
Before launching Open Minds Open Hearts, Bianca spent years gaining experience in her field by working with churches and educational institutions. It was through these experiences that Bianca realized this may be where God wants her to be.
Bianca graduated from Kent State University in Kent, OH with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. She is now focusing on furthering her education with a master in human development. She is a member of Order of Eastern Stars, as well as National Association of Professional Women. She served on the NAACP board for her collegiate chapter, as well as several other organizations through college.
Bianca believes that her life was so hard, because God was preparing her to be a living testimony to others. Bianca grew up impoverished in the inner city of Cleveland with a teenage mom. She spent time in the juvenile facility of and on through her middle school and high school years. Bianca managed to graduate high school a year early. Struggling through college without books, food, and a place to live; Bianca managed to graduate. She is a living proof that social norm does not determine who you are and how successful you can be. Bianca is an anointed woman of God, who is determined to be a true change agent in society and the kingdom of God
Open Minds Open Hearts is a threefold ministry; bringing knowledge, education, strength and growth to the youth of our community. Through the following:

3. 8wk I Am a P.E.A.R.L Course
As a youth intervention specialist, my job is to help build, rebuild or reconstruct your youth ministry to and effective and productive state. If you have a youth ministry foundation, I will come with concrete ideas to help increase youth involvement, parent support, and/or show you keys to effective ministry.
Motivation speaking is for special events or group settings. I am there to motivate the youth of your community. I will bring my personal experience as a young child growing up in the inner city of Cleveland, OH with a teen mom. Being sexually, mentally, physically abused; escaping the downward spiral of the juvenile system. I managed to graduate high school a year early and struggle through college to now hold my B.S. in Criminal Justice. I want these girls to know that they too can make a change. My focus is to NOT allow the youth to leave the same way they entered.
