Team
The team mainly consists of the two of us, Daniel Fischer and Ignacio Utrilla, we are both Developers from Switzerland.
Main idea
Do you have an opinion and are curious about how many people think the same? (e.g.: "I think Carbonara tastes better with cooking cream"). Do you have a "yes or no" question you want to ask the world for opinion or need help deciding? (e.g.: "Is the latest product of XYZ worth buying?")
Then Oppy is exactly what you're looking for, keep reading for further details.
The main idea of Oppy is to create a place where you can share your opinions and questions, where people can agree or disagree with opinions they see or just answer questions.
The whole app is text-based, so images, videos or audios are not allowed. If we see that the users wish to upload images to give more context to their opinions we can consider it in the future, but we have no plans for it at the moment.
Story
We always talked about wanting to create something that could inspire people and make a product that people could enjoy, like an app or a game.
It was around a year ago that we discussed the idea for this app, during a late evening, in a bar, after work. That's where everything started, where the basic idea for Oppy set its roots. From there on, we had a vague idea in our minds, and we slowly started making our first wireframes and concepts. Not long after, we had our first Mockups with the designs we had to follow during the process.
We've already been working on the project for a few months and figured out it'd be a good idea to start a crowdfunding to cover the expenses and also to see if people are actually interested in this type of product.
Design and Process
All designs for the mockups, graphics and animations were made by us.
Until now, we worked on the project whenever we had time, after work or school, but also worked on other projects like websites for clients or mobile games, to be able to build our portfolio and gain the experience we need.
Here are some of our first mockups

First prototypes
We currently have a working Sign in and Sign up page, where it's possible to sign in/up through a Google account or Email, we are planning to add further sign up options (Like Facebook and Twitter).
The database is pretty much ready to receive user data and handle people's opinions
We will add more windows/pages as soon as they are ready and we think they are good to go
