A Little About Us...
Our club,
Thrive Initiative, was created in 2012 after a group of physical therapy
students decided that they wanted to make a difference not only here
in the US, but all over the world. We send students to different
countries on PT medical mission
trips. This
year student groups will travel to Haiti (2), Panama, and Kentucky to help with
a wide variety of patients from:
-
Children with birth defects, genetic
disorders, and amputations
- Adults who have experienced a stroke, low back pain, or various
injuries associated with natural disasters.

The Lasting Impact…
-
We plan to sustain and continue to provide support for this
orphanage in Panama by returning
on a yearly or six-month basis.
-
Any money raised that is over the amount of our trip will go to the next trip for when we return to this orphanage (expected to be August 2014).
-
We hope to create support for the children and care for them that
the care-takers will have the ability and education to provide.
-
Our goal is to provide an improved
quality of life for all of the
children in this orphanage.
Thank YOU for all of your interest and support it
is greatly appreciated!
