The name Oscar was given to me because my father Antonio is a big fan of Oscar D'leon, a famous Salsa singer. He was known as one of the greatest entertainers in Latin music. I have always wanted to be an entertainer, a light that bring others joy and hope. I discovered my talent in writing and performing rap music as a young teenager. There were four different times in my life as a youth that I pursued a career in music. It never worked out. At 20 years of age, I would go to the studio weekly and record music. I had about 20 songs recorded. They were songs I wouldn't dare listen to today. I swore like crazy and the content was uninspiring. During this time in my life, I met missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.  They taught me about Christ and His restored gospel, I changed my ways and decided to stop going to the studio since it was an environment that was not conducive to feeling God's love. I put my music dream on a shelf. Once in a while I would take it out for fun and to lift others, but my dream was just a dream. Until now! I have felt the support of my wife and some dear friends to go for it! Now is the time to live my dream and inspire many individuals. Please help me go for it, capture it, and own it! I know that there is a population of folks that will love my message. They will love my voice! They will love my story! You are a part of my story. Thank you for your support. I love you all! Dream!
