Current sports science agrees with breathing practices and traditions dating back thousands of years, that inhalation and exhalation resistance training should be separated, as inspiration and expiration are commonly perceived as two different processes.

Exercising both inhalation and exhalation at the same time is likely to exacerbate the existing imbalances, causing training overlaps and rollbacks. Oumua was designed with this in mind.

Its Oumua Pro has two separate airflow channels that allow you to perform the inhalation and exhalation movements separately. By gradually tailoring the resistance levels, you’ll progress faster, and avoid common exercising mistakes from other practices.



All it takes to gain control of your breathing are 5 to 7 mins of inhalation training in the morning, and 5 to 7 mins of exhalation resistance training in the evening. Experience a noticeable increase in your breathing performance with just these 10 to 15 minutes of daily exercising.


Oumua Pro’s patent-pending Gradient resistance system guides you through 6 resistance levels, based on your goals, from general well-being to athletic improvement.

Oumua Pro provides resistance levels tailored for both general well-being and athletic improvement, starting from moderately low 8 сm (3.14 inches) of H2O resistance - all the way up to really hard-to-crack 60 сm (23.6 inches), something even trained athletes will find challenging.






 

With Oumua App, you can measure your lung capacity, adjust training sessions based on compliance, get new training programs, and compete with other users during similar training sessions.

Oumua Pro exterior is a reference to nature’s phenomenon, the Nautilus Pompilius, whose shell is a perfect representation of the golden spiral.

Its minimalist exterior reduces undue attention, and there are no added vibrations, sounds, or sensations — it's handily sized, user-friendly, intuitive and discrete.



The name is inspired by Oumuamua — Hawaiian for “first distant messenger” — and the name given to the first known interstellar object to make it into our Solar System. What can we say, we love space :)











 

Resistance modes "1" and "2" are optimal for the breathing practice novices, seniors, and users with compromised respiratory function; "3" and "4" offer a moderately challenging training experience that will fit most users; "5" and "6" are suitable for trained breathing practitioners and athletes.
