The idea behind the Ovi Watch is to produce high-quality wooden watches with a touch of nature and design in the best price range possible.

Some of you may not know that Latvia's number one export is wood and that the country is mostly covered with forests. Our vision is not just to cut the trees down and use them as materials for furniture or for heating, or anything else – our mission is to put some additional value to them, that is why we have created OVi Watches.

OVi Watches are not only high quality, but also super light, which will allow you to wear them on any occasion – either it is on daily basis or at a wedding toasting to your friends’ happiness. 

Started by young entrepreneurs and watch enthusiasts Ivo, Zintis and Dāvis, we set out to create a collection of wooden watches based on our passion for design, craftsmanship and timepieces.  Ivo Asns made the first prototype in Liepajas Design and Art College and now we are hoping to take one step closer to YOU by offering OVi watches.

& The dream has resulted in the first OVi watch collection.

The next step is the awesome crowd funding place called IndieGogo. We have made a working prototype that can change the way we live. All we need is just one more thing – Your SUPPORT!

We have designed the watches from scratch using modern tools. Our 3D models later became technical drawings which then were produced in Liepāja Design and Art College. We are not using any manufacturers to produce Ovi watches, and to keep high quality we will produce all of the OVi watches in our home town Liepāja. 

We aim to have a direct approach to our customers. Therefore, we avoided costly intermediaries, distributors and sales personal. The watches will only be sold through our own website and on Indiegogo. This is crucial, as we are trying to sell them for the best price possible.

Firstly, our inner policy is simple: deliver high quality watches for an acceptable price. 
As we all know, there are a lot of expensive and good looking wood materials, but the problem is combining the best possible materials, that wouldn't skyrocket the price.

Secondly, the time usage in the production process. As OVi watch is new to this market, we are also learning the process of working in a high capacity.
This means our machines will need to get upgrades in a way that is new to us. 
We haven't yet had the chance to get the proper experience in working with upgraded machinery. So, to get the upgrade, we need YOUR help!
